I am an experienced pilot with nearly 20 years of flying experience and ~6,500 hours of accumulated flight time. I currently serve as a Captain for one of the largest fractional jet operators in the country.

As Thrasher Aviation's President, I am committed to delivering outstanding service and ensuring safety on every flight while our students enjoy the best flight training experience possible. Outside the cockpit, I enjoy mountain biking, riding motorcycles, working on computers, and working on cars.

As Chief Instructor, I must ensure that all our instructors are providing you with the best possible quality of instruction we can, so that your experience with Thrasher Aviation is fun, productive, and, most importantly, safe. When I’m not flying, I’m spending my time riding motorcycles, working on computers, 3D printing, or restoring vintage cars.

My name is Titus Matthews, I am a CFI/CFII/MEI with a deep passion for aviation, and I am committed to sharing my expertise and enthusiasm with aspiring pilots. My journey in the skies began with a fascination for aircraft while living under the final approach corridor for Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) in New Jersey, which initially sparked my unique interest in building a realistic in-home flight simulator. Away from the flight deck, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and pursuing my second hobby of officiating pro-am & women's college basketball on the Division 2 and 3 levels.
